5) Dylan Cozens: Lethbridge (WHL)
Position:Center
Age/Height/Weight: 18, 6-3, 180 pounds
2018-19: 68 games, 34 goals, 50 assists, 84 points
Analysis:Cozens' game is highlighted by his speed and ability to shoot, which is highlighted by his average of one point per game. Combined with his agility and speed, Cozens is also extremely physical and competitive, always checking. As mentioned by NHL scouts, "he displays explosive speed with excellent acceleration and can make quick decisions on the fly. He competes at an elite level and is tough to contain in all areas of the ice. He can drive the net with authority and plays well on the defensive side of the puck."

4) Kirby Dach: Saskatoon (WHL)
Position: Center
Age/Height/Weight: 18, 6-3, 199 pounds
2018-19: 62 games, 25 goals, 48 assists, 73 points
Analysis: "A deceptive skater with top-end speed when in motion. He has excellent vision and skill with a quick release scorer's shot to finish chances. He's a legitimate threat when the puck is on his stick and capable of controlling pace and the outcome of games," described by NHL scouts. Dach's confidence with the puck makes his ability to transition into the offensive zone a key component of his game.

3) Vasili Podkolzin: SKA-1946 St. Petersburgh
Position: Right Wing
Age/Height/Weight: 17, 6-1, 190 pounds
2018-19: 56 games, 19 goals, 17 assists, 36 points
Analysis:NHL Scouts have described Podkolzin as a deceptive skater with top-end speed when in motion. "He has excellent vision and skill with a quick release scorer's shot to finish chances. He's a legitimate threat when the puck is on his stick and is capable of controlling pace and the outcome of games." Podkolzin is a succesful two-way player that is able to have an impact on both the power play and penalty kill.

2) Kaapo Kakko: TPS (FIN)
Position: Right Wing
Age, Height, Weight:17, 6-1, 190 pounds
2018-19: 45 games, 22 goals, 16 assists, 38 points
Analysis:Kaapo is a described by NHL Scouts as "a big power forward who plays effectively on either wing (he is left-handed) where he showcases his strong playmaking ability. His hockey sense and skills, when combined with his size and strength, allow him to be an impact player in all situations." Plus, his compete-level is unmatched and is highlighted by his effort put in to force turnovers and break up the other team's play.

1) Jack Hughes: USA U-18 (USHL)
Position: Center
Age/Height/Weight: 17, 5-10, 170 pounds
2018-19: 41 games, 23 goals, 63 assists, 86 points
Analysis: As a player, Hughes has been compared to Jack Eichel and Connor McDavid with his incredible speed and ability to get through traffic. With tons of NHL scouts looking his way, it's clear that "he's not afraid to challenge that opening that others may not be able to get through because he sees beyond with the opportunities there."
