West Valley Wolves Hockey Club awarded $10,000 by Kings Fan Development Department

The West Valley Wolves were awarded $10,000 for being the youth hockey club that sold largest amount of fundraising tickets.

The LA Kings Fan Development Department held the Kings Assist Youth Hockey Fundraising Program and Contest during the 2009-10 Kings season. The Kings Assist Youth Hockey fundraising program helped local youth hockey teams raise money for their organizations by purchasing specially priced Kings’ tickets and reselling them to raise funds. As part of the program, the youth hockey club that sold the largest amount of fundraising tickets was awarded $10,000.

This season’s contest winner is the West Valley Wolves from Valley Ice Center in Panorama City. The Kings would like to congratulate the West Valley Wolves on their outstanding accomplishment. This program was open to all So Cal youth hockey teams and clubs. In addition to the grand prize, teams were awarded signed Kings’ memorabilia, practices hosted by Kings’ alumni, and other hockey related incentives. The LA Kings would also like to thank the LA Kings Alumni Association, Jr. Kings, Jr. Reign, Ventura Mariners, Channel Island Riptide, Bay Harbor Redwings, and Valencia Express for taking part in the program.
