The maintenance crew at STAPLES Center began the process of installing the ice for the Kings’ 2015-’16 season early Monday morning.
The three-day process, which required 10,000 gallons of water, the floor being cooled to 18 degrees Fahrenheit, and hours of stenciling and painting, was completed on Wednesday.
You can see a myriad of photos and video snippets from Day 1 of the process HERE.
The Kings will first take to the brand new sheet of ice in a preseason contest against the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday, September 22. You can get your tickets HERE.
