by Emily Griganavicius @LAKings / LAKings.com

The past week was an intense one for the LA Kings.

Four games, three went to overtime, and one went all the way to the shootout. These games provided ample amount of highlights to look back on.

Check out this week's Top 5 Plays of the Week:

5) Doughty's Defensive Play

Drew Doughty lays out (literally) to stop the Maple Leafs' 2-on-1 opportunity.
Definitely some creative defense.

4) Kopitar Nets a Top Shelf Goal

Anze Kopitar makes it look easy.
His perfectly placed shot beats Ryan Miller.

3) Pearson Beats Andersen

Tanner Pearson picks up the puck and is able to slide it past Frederik Andersen.
Following in his father's Jeff Carter's footsteps, Pearson is on fire this season.

2) Kopitar Scores the Shootout-winning Goal

Kopitar beats Andersen in the shootout to score the winning goal.
And he skates away like it was no big deal.

1) Quick's Shootout Save

Just Jonathan Quick being Jonathan Quick.
This huge save ended the shootout, completing the Kings comeback.
