LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings’ annual Tip-A-King event – set for Saturday, January 3, at the L.A. LIVE event deck – has officially sold out. The Kings would like to thank our club’s great fans for the overwhelming support of Tip-A-King 2015 and the Kings Care Foundation -- the official non-profit children’s charity of the team that focuses on enhancing educational, recreational and health-related programs for the youth of Greater Los Angeles – overall.
Kings fans without a Tip-A-King ticket can still support the Kings Care Foundation this holiday season in a number of different ways, including the Stanley Cup ring raffle (www.lakings.com/raffle) or the Kings’ Holiday Jersey Auction on December 18 and December 20 (www.lakings.com/auctions).
The Foundation is also partnering with several local organizations to raise funds and supplies, including:
- December 16, 18, 20 : Toy Drives, benefitting Baby Buggy, Child Abuse Prevention Center and more, will take place at the TEAM LA new store opening on December 16 and prior to the Kings games on December 18 and 20.
- December 27: The largest sanctuary for homeless pets -- Best Friends Animal Society -- will collect towels, blankets, treats and dog food during LA Kings Pet Supplies Drive presented by VCA Animal Hospitals.
The next major Kings Care Foundation fundraising event will be on March 21 at Manhattan Country Club for the annual Taste of the South Bay event. Additional details will be coming soon.
