This was the only thing the LA Kings couldn't connect on Saturday night.

ARE THE KINGS IN THE NEXT ROUND?:
Hey have you heard?
FYI, it's "That '70s Line" with the ' in front of the 7.
I had meant to post this for Game 3... but we all got lost in the hoopla over #NHL15Doughty.
But during Game 2 in Chicago, That '70s Line helped the LA Kings achieve a little bit of franchise history.
So via Spike Coffman, who is The Royal Half's 1990s LA Kings Video Historian, we have every single goal from that game on May 7, 1993... aka the last time the LA Kings scored 5 goals in the 3rd Period of a NHL Playoff game. Funny enough, this Game 3 of the Division Finals against the Vancouver Canucks featured a scoreless 1st Period. Let's see what recent frequent visitor to hockey games across the NHL, Wayne Gretzky had to say:
Sweet B.U.M. Equipment merch hanging up there.
Thankfully the scoring started in the 2nd Period with a great goal featuring one of the LA Kings talented young defenseman stepping up (STOP ME IF YOU'VE HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE!)
Darryl Sydor, forever.
That's Vancouver Canucks President of Hockey Operations, Trevor Linden, to you bud.
Warren Rychel scored 6 goals during the 93 Playoffs. He scored 8 total playoff goals in his career.
1990's hockey graphics, forever.
Tied at 2 going in the 3rd... the action REALLY picked up.
Seriously, when is the last time you heard the name Doug Lidster?
Jari Kurri showed some Tanner Pearson-esque speed there.
You wanna know something sad? Gretzky would go on to only score 22 more Playoff goals.
And 10 of them were scored during the remaining Playoff games in 1993.
Whatever, Dave Babych.
Wow! I need to see that again!
Oh I guess that Sandstrom goal was pretty cool too.
1990s hockey, forever.
Jim Fox interviewing Jari Kurri is every part of my childhood.
FYI, Wayne Gretzky had 9 career Playoff empty net goals which seems low to me.
Just when you think a barrage of 3rd Period goals wasn't enough... Prime Ticket (the original version) also ran this amazing feature on the 1993 Black Aces.
I had no idea k.d. Lang was a Black Ace.
And finally, here is a rare action shot of #TeamTRH from those 1993 Playoffs.
Bro Kings Bro!
