Mikey Eyssimont signs contract LA Kings

The LA Kings have signed forward Mikey Eyssimont to a two-year entry-level contract, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.
The 21-year-old Eyssimont (born September 9, 1996) is a 6-0, 181-pound native of Littleton, Colo. who appeared in 39 games this past season with the St. Cloud State University (NCHC), posting 39 points (17-22=39), a plus-12 rating and 30 penalty minutes.

Drafted in the fifth-round (142nd overall) by the Kings in the 2016 NHL Draft, the junior forward recently completed his Huskies career by leading St. Cloud the best regular-season record in the NCHC, and the top overall seed in the National Tournament.
The Huskies lost in the West Regional Semi-Final to the Air Force, ending their season.
Eyssimont led all Huskies in goals, ranked tied for second in points and tied for third in assists last season.
He finished with 101 points (45-56=101) in 115 career games over three seasons with St. Cloud State, including winning the NCHC championship during the 2015-16 season.
