LAKings.com caught up with Kings center Anze Kopitar to ask six questions about what he does during the offseason.
Originally selected by the Kings in the first-round (11th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Kopitar made his NHL/Kings debut in 2006-07. On October 6, 2006, he scored two goals in his first game (at Anaheim) as he also became the first player from Slovenia to play in the NHL. The 6-3, 219-pound native of Jesenice, Slovenia finished his third season in the NHL and on the Kings last year, scoring 66 points (29-37=66) to lead the Kings. On Oct. 11, 2008 Kopitar signed a seven-year contract extension with the Kings (News Story, Kopitar Reaction), the second longest in club history.
