LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Kings center Jeremy Roenick is expected to undergo a surgical procedure on his fractured left ring finger Thursday, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Roenick, 35, is expected to miss at least four-to-six weeks. The surgical procedure is scheduled to be performed by hand specialist Dr. Steve Shin at the Kerlan Jobe Surgery Center.

Roenick suffered the injury during the second period of Monday night's Kings-Vancouver Canucks game in Vancouver. In 32 games with the Kings this season, Roenick has 13 points (6-7=13) and 28 penalty minutes. In 1,156 career NHL regular season games with the Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks, the 6-1, 196-pound native of Boston has 1,133 points (481-652=1,133) and 1,363 penalty minutes.
