Los Angeles Kings forward Jeremy Roenick will serve as a special Kings "guest commentator" on FSN West during the second period of the Los Angeles Kings-Tampa Bay Lightning game at STAPLES Center on Tuesday, January 17.
Roenick, currently out of the Kings line-up due to a fractured finger, will join Kings broadcasters Bob Miller and Jim Fox in the club's broadcast booth to help "call the action" when the Kings take on the 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Lightning (game time is 7:30 p.m.). Roenick is also scheduled on January 17 to be the special live guest on "Break The Ice," the club's 30-minute pre-game show on FSN West. "Break The Ice" airs at 7 p.m. with co-hosts Patrick O'Neal and former Kings defenseman Marty McSorley.
On January 5, Oscar Award Winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. served in a similar role on FSN West during the second period of the Kings-Phoenix Coyotes game at STAPLES Center.
