Paul-LaDue-Signs-2-year-Contract-LA-Kings

The LA Kings have signed restricted free agent defenseman Paul LaDue to a two-year contract, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.
LaDue's contract carries an AAV of $825,000.

The 25-year-old LaDue (born Sept. 6, 1992) is a 6-2, 198-pound native of Grand Forks, N.D. who appeared in 12 regular season games last season for the Kings. He posted four points (3-1=4), a plus-5 rating and six penalty minutes.

He also made his postseason debut, where he played in two games and recorded one goal (1-0=1).

LaDue played in 38 games last season as well with the Ontario Reign (AHL), and registered 18 points (6-12=18) and 28 penalty minutes.
Selected by the Kings in the sixth-round (181st overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, LaDue has appeared in 34 regular season games over two seasons with the Kings and has recorded 12 points (3-9=12) and 10 penalty minutes. He has appeared in 74 regular season games with Ontario, posting 36 points (14-22=36), a plus-7 rating and 50 penalty minutes.
