Reign Welcome Back Team Point Leader

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, announced today that forward C.J. Stretch has been returned to the team from the Houston Aeros of the AHL.

Stretch, 22, appeared in three games with the Aeros earning his first AHL point with an assist in his first game with the club on Jan. 20 against the San Antonio Rampage.

The center returns to lead the Reign in points, thus far accumulating 41 points (18g, 23a) in 37 games this season.  Earning an average of a point per game, Stretch looks to surpass his 6-game point streak he recorded earlier this season.

The Irvine, Calif. native signed with the Reign during the 2009-10 season playing in just one game, where he scored his first professional career goal.  He re-signed with the team for the 2010-11 season appearing in 46 games and recording 21 points (9g, 12a).
