ONTARIO, Calif. – The Ontario Reign, four-time ECHL Pacific Division Champions and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced that the team will host a press conference at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m., prior to that evening's 7 p.m. game against the Allen Americans.
The Reign will unveil their new logo and colors for the 2015-16 season, when the team will begin play in its inaugural campaign in the American Hockey League.
LA Kings President of Business Operations Luc Robitaille will be in attendance, along with Kings Vice President/Assistant General Manager Rob Blake, AHL President and CEO David Andrews, Reign President Darren Abbott and city dignitaries to speak about the changes coming to the professional hockey landscape of the Inland Empire.
The press conference is open to both members of the media and the general public. Members of the general public can enter through the main entrance to Citizens Business Bank Arena on the south east side starting at 3:30 p.m. Fans can submit questions to the team on Twitter (@OntarioReign) by using the hashtag #ReignAHL; five questions will be pre-selected to be answered during the press conference by Darren Abbott; credentialed members of the media will have the opportunity to ask questions following the speakers' remarks.
