Reign finalize roster, set for opening night

by Alex Kinkopf / Los Angeles Kings

The Ontario Reign are set to make their American Hockey League regular season debut tonight when they take on the Bakersfield Condors at 7:00 PM at the Rabobank Arena.

The Reign, who spent eight seasons as the Kings’ ECHL affiliate, now house most of the Kings’ top prospects, many of whom skated with the NHL club this past month at Development Camp and Training Camp at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. 15 of the players on Ontario's current roster were part of the Manchester Monarchs' Calder Cup championship team last season.

After playing their first three games on the road, Ontario will return home to the Citizens Business Bank Arena on Friday, October 23 when they host the Bakersfield Condors, and on Saturday, October 24 when they host the San Jose Barracuda.
