Former LA Kings goaltender Gary Edwards joins Jesse Cohen and Dave Joseph to discuss his time in Los Angeles and the rest of the hockey world.
Edwards and Rogie Vachon formed the goaltending tandem in 1974-75 that backstopped the Kings to team's best regular season in franchise history. The Kings finished that season with a record 105 points, in no small part to Edwards' impressive 15-3-8 record and 2.34 goal against average.
Edwards spent six seasons in and Los Angeles and is ranked 8th in all-time wins for the Kings.
A former first round pick (No. 6 overall) by the St. Louis Blues, his 13 years in the NHL allowed him to play with some of the very best the game has to offer and to participate in historic moments.
Listen along as he shares some of his fondest moments.
