The 2018 NHL Awards are just a week away and the LA Kings will play a major role in this year's show.
Jonathan Quick and company already won the William M. Jennings Trophy, which is awarded to the goaltender that plays at least 25 games and has the fewest goals scored against them.
...we all know how much Quick hates being scored on.
Plus, Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty are both up for awards.
Kopitar is a finalist for both the Frank J. Selke Trophy, given to forward that demonstrates the most defensive skill, and the Hart Memorial Trophy, given to player that is judged as the most valuable to his team.
Doughty was named a finalist for the James Norris Memorial Trophy, given to the defenseman who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position.
Dan Rosen, NHL.com Senior Writer, checked in with NHL Now to discuss his picks for the 2018 NHL Awards.

"All situations, all around to me, the best player in the league from Game 1 to Game 82," Rosen said about Kopitar.
If this is the case, the Kings will be going home with plenty of new hardware.
