MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed defenseman Jordan Hill to a professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.
Hill, 22, has recorded one assist in 10 games with Manchester in two separate stints this season. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Sarnia, Ontario has played 28 games with the ECHL's Ontario Reign and registered three goals and six assists for nine points (3-6=9). Hill made his professional debut with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose against Hamilton on April 4, 2010. Hill registered zero points and two penalty minutes in two games with the Moose last season. Prior to turning pro, he split the 2009-10 season between the Ontario Hockey League’s Sarnia Sting and Saginaw Spirit. Hill recorded 19 points (4-15=19) and 55 penalty minutes in 41 games with the Sting and also picked up 19 points (3-16=19) and 18 penalty minutes in 28 games with the Spirit.
