by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings

Saturday, August 9

Beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Marsh Park, 2960 Marsh Street, Los Angeles, 90039

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will collect on his wager with Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait and the two will join forces to clean up the L.A. River. on Saturday.

In May, the two mayors bet community service projects as the Kings and Ducks faced off in the second round of the NHL Western Conference Playoffs. The Kings defeated the Ducks in Game 7 and went on to win the Stanley Cup on June 13 against the New York Rangers.

The mayors will be joined by Bailey, the L.A. Kings mascot, Colonel Kim Colloton of the US Army Corps of Engineers, and other elected officials.

Kings fans are invited to attend.
