following the team online.
“The Kings are excited to launch our new-look website, and as the 2007-08 season approaches, we are looking forward to having the premier website in the National Hockey League,” said Kings Vice President, Communications and Broadcasting Michael Altieri. “We are always looking for new and exciting ways to deliver news and information on our team, and our tech savvy fan base wills surely embrace the new LAKings.com, which we believe will deliver the best online experience possible.”
The NHL selected LAKings.com as the third team website to undergo the upgrade to the new design due to the amount of quality and content it delivers to Kings fans. The redesigned website continues the commitment to content, and the site will add new multimedia elements and will allow for easier navigation to site visitors.
Among the new features of the redesigned website are Kings TV, a new streaming video player that will allow fans easier access to game highlights, interviews and other related video; enhanced photo galleries and up-to-the minute statistics and scores. The new website will also feature new and archived video, audio, press releases and features. In addition, the Kings' 40-year History will be highlighted with a special team archive section, which will allow fans to view the club’s long and storied past.
Along with the above listed features, the online ticket-purchasing process for Kings games at STAPLES Center has been streamlined on LAKings.com and will allow instant access and the ability to not only purchase tickets, but to view all ticket packages and promotional offers.
