LAKings.com's Plays of the Week

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings

LAKings.com has selected our favorite plays of the week, now it's your turn.

The Kings played three games during the week, posting a 2-1-0 mark with a 3-1 win at Edmonton on Nov. 25, a 4-1 loss to Vancouver on Thanksgiving and a 2-1 SO win over Chicago on Saturday.

SIMMONDS WITH A GREAT EYE
Kings forward Wayne Simmonds ties the game at 1-1 against the Edmonton Oilers with a seeing-eye shot that finds its way past Edmonton goaltender Jeff Deslauriers.

GREENE GETS HIS FIRST
Kings defenseman Matt Greene scored his first goal of the season in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers. With the game tied 1-1 late in the third period, Greene gets the puck off a Michal Handzus miss and buries it in the net for the game-deciding goal.

QUICK COMES UP BIG
With the Kings trailing the Vancouver Canucks 1-0 in the first period, goaltender Jonathan Quick makes a great save on a shot by Vancouver center Ryan Kesler to keep the deficit at one goal.

SIMMONDS PUTTING IN WORK
Kings forward Wayne Simmonds continued his hot streak, scoring his third goal in as many games, this one to give the Kings a 1-0 lead over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks.

KOPI IS CLUTCH
Kings center Anze Kopitar helps to avenge an earlier loss to the Chicago Blackhawks by putting the Kings up 1-0 in the shootout.
