The Kings played three games during the week posting a 2-1-0 mark, defeating the Coyotes 5-3 in Phoenix, a 5-2 emotional win over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Penguins before a 3-1 afternoon loss on Saturday to the Predators.

Current NHL points leader, Anze Kopitar, gives the Kings an early 1-0 lead in the first period with a beautiful shot that beats former Kings goaltender, Jason LaBarbera.
 
QUICK IS AS QUICK DOES
Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick keeps the Kings ahead in the first period with a great save on a shot by Phoenix defenseman Ed Jovanovski.
 
WILLIAMS RETURNS IN STYLE
In his first game back from an undisclosed lower body injury, Justin Williams ties the game against the Phoenix Coyotes in the second period with a great goal, taking the faceoff and then beating Coyotes goaltender Jason LaBarbera with a back-hand.
 
KOPI PUTTING IN WORK EARLY
Just 27 seconds into a critical game against the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Pengiuns, Anze Kopitar continues his great start to the season with a beautiful move to the back-hand, beating Pittsburgh goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.
 
A BIG TIME STOLL
With the game against the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins tied in the second period, Dustin Brown intercepts an attempted clear by Pengiun goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and then proceeds to find a wide open Jarret Stoll for the go-ahead Kings goal
