LAKings.com posts record traffic numbers for October

LOS ANGELES – LAKings.com, the official web site of the Los Angeles Kings, set a franchise record for page views in October and the site also ranked first overall in the National Hockey League for time spent on the site last month, the team announced today.
LAKings.com recorded its highest page views ever last month to surpass the previous franchise record established in April of 2010. LAKings.com page views for October also ranked ninth overall in the NHL. In addition, LAKings.com also ranked first overall in the NHL in time spent on the site in October and third overall in the NHL in visits per unique visitor in October.
LAKings.com in October also ranked first in the NHL in year-to-year growth in time spent on the site (27 percent increase) and fourth in the NHL in year-to-year growth in page views (37 percent increase). The site also enjoyed its third-busiest day of web traffic in franchise history on October 7, 2011, as the Kings opened the 2011-12 season that day by facing the New York Rangers in Stockholm, Sweden.
