LA Kings Take on Offseason: The Pearson's Wedding Plans

Offseason: The time for family, vacations, weddings and more.
Tanner Pearson's offseason has been filled with finalizing details for his wedding happening later this summer.
Emma Pearson's dad gave us a little insight into his engagement and how the planning has been going for him and his fiancée, Meaghan.

Tanner and Meaghan started dating eight years ago and got engaged last summer.
"I proposed on our driveway at the home we built together in Kitchener, Ontario," Pearson said. "When we first started dating, I asked her out on her parents driveway and I thought this was a special moment to ask her to be my wife on our driveway at our home."
"Meaghan had no idea it was coming! Everything was kept a secret and she was completely shocked and swore a few times."

Luckily for this couple, they were able to get a lot done before coming out to Los Angeles last season.
"It wasn't very stressful for me. But if Meaghan had any questions, she was good at waiting until off-days or non-game days," Pearson said.
"And I learned to say, 'yes, Meaghan' a lot!"
...sounds like a smart man to us.
Meaghan did give him some jobs to do, but even Tanner admitted that "it's been mostly mostly Meaghan doing it all, which I'm grateful for."
With the wedding just around the corner, Tanner and Meaghan are both excited to have all of their family, friends and teammates together to celebrate their relationship and be with everyone who has watched them grow together as a couple.
