The LA Kings have recalled defenseman Paul LaDue from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today. Also, the Kings have assigned forward Jonny Brodzinski and goaltender Scott Wedgewood to Ontario.

The 25-year-old LaDue (born Sept. 6, 1992) is a 6-2, 198-pound native of Grand Forks, N.D., who appeared in seven games earlier this season with the Kings, posting three points (2-1=3) and a plus-2 rating. He has appeared in 36 games this season with Ontario, registering 18 points (8-10=18), a plus-8 rating and 22 penalty minutes.

Brodzinski has appeared in 34 games this season with the Kings, recording six points (4-2=6), a plus-5 rating and six penalty minutes. Wedgewood was acquired from the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday and has not appeared in any games as a King.
The Kings host the Edmonton Oilers tonight at 7 p.m., their three-game homestand.
