"Per Dean Lombardi, goaltender Martin Jones will join the Kings when they arrive in New York. No roster move has officially been made at this point with respect to Jones or to Jonathan Quick, who suffered what appeared to be a lower-body injury during overtime of Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
The Kings' 12:30 practice has been pushed back by roughly half an hour because of the news this morning in Buffalo. After practicing at the First Niagara Center, the team will fly to Long Island in advance of Thursday's game against the New York Islanders."
following that with
"Left wing Tanner Pearson will be joining Martin Jones and the Los Angeles Kings on Long Island later today as the team is on the verge of making several roster moves to offset the team’s recent injury surge. Jonathan Quick joined Matt Greene and Kyle Clifford as those whose injuries are being evaluated, while Jarret Stoll has resumed practicing and Jeff Carter remains on injured reserve.
Considering the recent fine showings by center Linden Vey and right wing Tyler Toffoli, it will be interesting to see if the team will reunite the trio at any point during this weekend’s games.
The impending roster moves likely won’t be made until after the team’s morning skate at Nassau Coliseum on Thursday."
