LA Kings Host Gender Equality Night with Pregame Women in Sports Panel

Last night's outcome may not have been ideal, but the off-ice initiative of Gender Equality Night was incredible.
From a pregame Women in Sports panel to the LA Lions involvement all night long, it was definitely a night towards a worthy cause.
The Women in Sports panel kicked off the night by having six female AEG employees discuss their career paths, give advice for other young women and more.

During the anthem, six LA Lions players joined the Kings players on the ice to highlight that Hockey is For Everyone.

Also, what better way to celebrate Gender Equality Night than having the very first LA Lions player sign her Letter of Intent for college hockey.

While she may be the first LA Lions player to do it, we know she definitely won't be the last!
Plus, the several Kings female staff members joined the FOX Sports West broadcast to discuss the importance of this Gender Equality Night and inclusion in the sports industry.

Overall, it was a successful night highlighting all the awesome work that the women at the Kings, FOX Sports West and in the hockey community do.
