LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings High School Hockey League is pleased to announce the eight teams that will participant in the inaugural 2015-2016 League Season. Seven district teams will join West Ranch High School as the founding teams for the new league.
West Ranch High School Wildcats (playing out of Ice Station Valencia)
East County Outlaws (playing out Iceoplex Simi Valley)
El Segundo Strikers (playing out of Toyota Sports Center)
Greater Santa Barbara Royals (Playing out of Ice In Paradise
Kern County Knights (playing out of San Joaquin Community Hospital Ice of Bakersfield)
San Gabriel Valley Cougars (playing out of Pasadena Ice Skating Center and Pickwick Ice)
Santa Clarita Hockey Club (playing out of Ice Station Valencia)
South County Aviators (playing out of Iceoplex Simi Valley)
The West Ranch High School Wildcats team is made up entirely of students from West Ranch High School in Santa Clarita. The seven district teams are composed of players from the communities surrounding the home rink. Also, former Kings forward and current TV Analyst Jim Fox will serve as this league’s commissioner.

Team practices are scheduled to begin the week of August 17th. Teams will participate in a 15-game regular season that will run from mid-September through the end of February. League schedule will be released later this summer.
LA Kings Sponsored Equipment
The LA Kings are sponsoring helmets, gloves, home and away game jerseys, pant shells, home and away socks, practice jerseys, bags, and jackets for all players the first three seasons a team is in the league. Click here to see some of the players getting their equipment fitted.
