The LA Kings have assigned forward Andrew Crescenzi to the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.

The 25-year-old Crescenzi (born May 14, 1994) is a 6-5, 207-pound native of Thornhill, Ontario, appeared in two games during his recall to the Kings, including his first NHL game, Nov. 14 vs. Vancouver. He went scoreless with two penalty minutes.

Acquired from Toronto in exchange for Brandon Kozun on Jan. 22, 2014, Crescenzi appeared in 11 games earlier this season for Ontario, recording three points (2-1=3) and 13 penalty minutes.

The Kings go on the road tonight as the club plays its first regular season game against the expansion Vegas Golden Knights at 5:00 p.m.
