The LA Kings and the National Hockey League today announced the club's
82-game 2021-22 NHL regular season schedule
which will include full capacity for Kings games at STAPLES Center.
The Kings begin the season at home versus the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, October 14, at STAPLES Center. Tickets for the home opener along with a 3-game mini plan including the home opener and prime matchups versus Montreal and Toronto are on sale today at 4 p.m. Remaining regular season home games will be on sale to the general public on August 12 after exclusive presales earlier that week.
The Kings-Vegas season opener on October 14 kicks off a two-game homestand that concludes with a game against the Minnesota Wild on October 16. The Kings then embark on their first road trip of the year, a four-game set that begins on October 19 at Nashville.

Schedule highlights:
The club's 2021-21 local (Bally Sports West) and national TV schedule (ESPN, Turner Sports, Sportsnet and TVA Sports) will be released at a later date as will all game times. All Kings games are slated to again be streamed live on the LA Kings (iHeartRadio) Audio Network and select home games will be aired in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM TU LIGA.

In addition, as previously announced, the Kings vs. Kings preseason showcase will take place on Sunday, September 26, at Toyota Arena in Ontario. Tickets are currently on sale here.

- The 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. at the home of the Vegas Golden Knights, T-Mobile Arena on Feb. 4-5. The 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend will include the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills™ on Friday, Feb. 4, and the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 5, and will feature various hockey-themed events, entertainment, and activities. - Olympic Break: No final agreement or decision has been made to this point regarding the possible participation of NHL Players in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Talks remain ongoing. Subject to reaching agreement with the NHL Players' Association and the International Ice Hockey Federation on all outstanding issues, including appropriate COVID-19 insurance for NHL Players, the League has agreed, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, to pause from Feb. 7-22, 2022 to accommodate NHL Player participation in the Olympic Games. The NHL and the NHL Players' Association will retain full authority to decide not to participate should COVID-19 conditions worsen or otherwise pose a threat to the health and safety of NHL Players, or for any other reason that may warrant such decision. In the event NHL Players participate in the 2022 Winter Olympics, the NHL regular season will resume on Wednesday, Feb. 23. If, for whatever reason, there is no NHL Player participation in the Olympics, a revised Regular Season schedule will be released which, to the greatest extent possible, will adopt the dates and games reflected in the schedule contemplating Olympic participation.
