LA Kings Activate Alec Martinez from Injured Reserve

The defenseman, who has been injured since December 8, is expected to return to the lineup tonight against the Ottawa Senators

The LA Kings have activated defenseman Alec Martinez from the injured reserve list, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.

Martinez, 31, has missed the club's last 14 games after suffering an upper body injury on December 8. In 30 games with the Kings this season, he has 11 points (3-8=11), including two game-winning goals. In 526 career NHL regular season games, all with the Kings, he has 183 points (60-123=183).
