FIDM/The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and the Los Angeles Kings have partnered for a special fashion show this Saturday that will feature the club’s new Alternate Jersey, which will be unveiled that evening.
Eleven FIDM students have been given the new jersey with the following instructions: ‘Create a clothing design with the jersey while keeping the logo sacred.’
The show will take place during the first intermission of Saturday’s Kings-Colorado game. The designs will be showcased at center ice by professional models with a special introduction of all the student designers. As part of the joint promotion, more than 1,000 FIDM students, alumni and faculty will be at STAPLES Center that evening for the game.
The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising or FIDM is a co-educational, specialized private college located in California dedicated to educating students for the Fashion, Entertainment, Interior Design, and Graphic Design industries.
FIDM offers a 2-year associate of arts degree, advanced study programs, and a bachelor of science degree program in business management. FIDM has over 6,500 full-time students and 1000 staff and faculty members.
