Kings To Host "Star of the Month" At Various Home Games This Season

by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
In partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Los Angeles and “Zebra’s Care,” the Los Angeles Kings are proud to host “Star of the Month” at various home games throughout the season (starting with tomorrow-Wednesday’s game vs. Carolina). Now in its fourth season, the “Star of the Month” program gives each child and his/her family the “royal treatment” which includes game tickets, dinner, a pre-game meet-and-greet with NHL officials as part of the league’s “Zebra’s Care” initiative and the opportunity to watch warm-ups from the penalty box. The “Star of the Month” program serves as a “wish enhancement” for children who have recently undergone treatment for life-threatening illnesses.

In addition, in December the Kings will grant the wish of 5-year-old Will McLeod, whose wish is to meet team captain Dustin Brown. Kings will host “Kings for Wishes” on Dec. 11 vs. the Minnesota Wild. Those who wish to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation on this night can purchase tickets by visiting www.LAKings.com/wishnight with a portion of ticket sales benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.

LA Kings “Star of the Month” dates are as follows:
Oct. 20    vs. Carolina Hurricanes (7:30 p.m.)
Nov. 6     vs. Nashville Predators (7 p.m.)
Dec. 11  vs. Minnesota Wild (7:30 p.m.)
