KINGS TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL INLINE SUMMER CAMP
by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings In its first year, Kings Inline Camp is a weekend roller hockey camp for children of all skill levels, ages 5-17, held at the Los Angeles Kings practice facility, the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, Calif. (Check out a photo gallery of other Kings camps.)
This year's camp will run from Saturday, Aug. 25 through Sunday, Aug. 26, with two daily sessions going from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the younger kids and 1 to 4 p.m. for the teens. Sessions include two and a half hours of rink instruction and one 30-minute break for a provided snack.
All Campers will receive a Kings Inline Camp jersey and four tickets to a 2007-08 Los Angeles Kings game.
Head Instructor Daryl Evans, former Kings Player and Radio Commentator, has assembled an All-Star staff of Kings Alumni, Personnel, and other hockey instructors.
