LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have signed defenseman Nick Ebert to a three year entry level contract, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Ebert, who turned 20 earlier this month, split this past season with Guelph and Windsor of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). With Guelph, he had 33 points (9-24=33) in 38 regular season games while in the playoffs he had 16 points (5-11=16) in 20 postseason contests for the OHL champions. With Windsor, he played in 27 regular season games and had 20 points (4-16=20).
A 6-0, 203 pound native of Livingston, New Jersey, Ebert was selected by the Kings in the seventh round (211th overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft.
