|Oscar Moller was recalled on Tuesday.
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled the following two players from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL) -- forwards Corey Elkins
and Oscar Moller-- Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Elkins, 24, made his NHL debut last week and has played in two games with the Kings this season, recording one goal and zero penalty minutes. The 6-3, 216-pound native of West Bloomfield, Michigan, has also played in 31 games with Manchester this season and has a team leading 20 points (8-12=20).
Moller, 20, has played in nine games with the Kings, recording two points (1-1=2) and zero penalty minutes. The 5-10, 186-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, has played in 26 games with Manchester this season and has a team co-leading nine goals and is tied for second in points with 19.
The Kings are in second place in the Pacific Divison (trailing San Jose by two points) and are fifth in the Western Conference with 47 points. The Kings are scheduled to practice tomorrow at 10 a.m. before returning to game action on Saturday, December 26, at Phoenix beginning at 6 p.m. That Kings-Phoenix game will air on FS West, KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network.
