LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Matt Moulson from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Wednesday.

Moulson, 24, has played in two games with the Kings this season and has one point (a goal) and zero penalty minutes. With the Monarchs, he has played in eight games this season and is tied for the team lead with five goals and fourth in points with nine.

The 6-1, 210-pound Moulson, who was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the ninth-round (263rd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on September 1, 2006. He is a native of North York, Ontario.

The Kings next play on Saturday, November 10, at STAPLES Center against Dallas at 7:30 p.m. The game will air on FSN West, KTLK AM 1150 and on the Kings Radio Network. The Kings next practice tomorrow, Thursday, at the Toyota Sports Center at 10:30 a.m.
