LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled goalie Adam Hauser from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.
Hauser will join the Kings in Nashville and dress for their game against the Predators tomorrow night. He will take the place of goalie Jason LaBarbera, who earlier today returned to Los Angeles for family reasons.
Hauser, 25, has a record of 5-2-1, a goals-against-average of 3.55 and a save-percentage of .894 in eight games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-2, 194-pound native of Bovey, Minnesota has not appeared in a regular season game with the Kings. Signed by the Kings as a free agent on July 8, 2004, Hauser will wear jersey No. 45 when he dresses for tomorrow night's game.
The Kings (12-5-1, 25 points; first place in the Pacific Division) conclude a four-game road trip at Gaylord Entertainment Center versus Nashville tomorrow night at 5:00 p.m. The contest will air on FSN West, on KSPN Radio 710 and along the Kings Radio Network.
