IVAN THE GREAT
Not exactly known for his scoring prowess, enforcer Raitis Ivanans tracks down a loose puck in front of the CBJ net and as he is being pulled down from behind, slides on the ice and scores his first goal of the season.
KOPITAR AND O'SULLIVAN BREAKAWAY
With the Kings holding a 1-0 lead, Anze Kopitar and Patrick O'Sullivan lead a two-on-one breakaway where Kopitar adjusts his speed to fool his defender and puts a neat pass in front of the net for an open O'Sullivan and an easy Kings goal.
HARROLD SCORES IN FRONT OF HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS
With the Kings up 2-0, defenseman/forward Peter Harrold, a native of Kirtland Hills, Ohio, takes a feed from Anze Kopitar and beats Steve Mason for a goal, much to the delight of his family and friends in the crowd.
GAUTHIER RUNS OVER LINDSTROM
In a very physical game in LA, defenseman Denis Gauthier runs over Joakim Lindstrom.
BROWN DOES WHAT BROWN DOES
Olli Jokinen carries the puck into the Kings zone and then is flattened by Dustin Brown.
