Spend the weekend of Sept. 6 and 7 playing hockey at Toyota Sports Center - the Official Practice Facility of the Los Angeles Kings - in El Segundo with some of the greatest players in Kings history with the Kings Fantasy Camp.

Kings Alumni include Luc Robitaille, Marcel Dionne, Bernie Nicholls, Marty McSorley, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Steve Duchesne, Ian Turnbull, Dave Taylor and Ray Ferraro. In addition, the Kings coaching staff - Terry Murray, Mark Hardy, Jamie Kompon, Nelson Emerson and Chad Smith - will be participating, leading campers in drills through out the camp. Each guest will participate in on-ice sessions with Kings Alumni and Coaches, will learn conditioning tips from Kings Strength and Conditioning Coach Chad Smith, participate in video sessions with Kings Coaches, will be provided with meals and receptions with Kings Alumni and Coaches, receive a great Kings gift bag, and much more.

Starting at just $899 per person ($1299 if a hotel room is needed for both nights), participants receive:

  • A personalized Kings Jersey
  • Kings Hat

  • Two Lower Level tickets to a 2008-09 Kings game (Date/Opponent TBD)
  • Eight One-Hour Sessions with Kings Coaches/Alumni consisting of On-Ice Practice, Off-Ice Conditioning, Video Sessions and Leadership Sessions.

Jim Fox
  • Played in 578 games during his 10-year NHL career, all with the Kings

  • Set to enter his 19th season as Kings’ TV color commentator
  • Named by Sports Illustrated in 2006 as best hockey analyst
Daryl Evans
  • Played six seasons in the NHL
  • Played with the Kings from 1981-85
  • Scored the game-winning goal in the 1982 “Miracle on Manchester” playoff game
  • Recorded 13 points in 10 playoff games with Kings in 1982
  • Set to enter his 10th season as the Kings’ Radio color commentator
Steve Duchesne
  • Played in 1,113 games over his 16-year NHL career
  • Recorded 752 points in career including 315 with the Kings
  • Won Stanley Cup (in 2002 with Detroit)
  • Named to NHL’s all-rookie team as a King (with Robitaille and Jimmy Carson)
Ray Ferraro
  • Played in 1,258 games over his 18-year career
  • Played with the Kings from 1996-99
  • Led the Kings in goals in 1996-97
  • Currently serves as a TV color commentator in Canada
Ian Turnbull
  • Played 10 seasons in the NHL
  • Played with the Kings during the 1981-82 season
  • Holds the NHL record with five goals in one game by a defenseman (1977)
  • Serves as secretary of the Kings Alumni Association
Marty McSorley
  • Played in 472 games with the Kings
  • Leads the Kings in all-time penalty minutes with 1,846
  • Ranks fifth all-time with Kings in points recorded by a defenseman
  • Voted the Kings' "Most Popular Player" three times
Dave Taylor
  • Had his sweater No. 18 retired by the Kings in 1995
  • Played in a franchise-high 1,111 games with the Kings
  • Ranks third on the club’s all-time scoring list with 1,069 points
  • Was a member of the prolific Triple Crown Line
  • Works for Dallas now after serving the Kings for 32 years
Terry Murray
  • Named the Kings' Head Coach on July 17, 2008
  • Formerly the Head Coach with Philadelphia, Washington and Florida
  • Has a 360-288-89 record over 11 NHL seasons as a head coach
  • Played in 302 career games as an NHL defenseman
Mark Hardy
  • Returned to the Kings this summer as an Assistant Coach
  • Has served as an assistant coach with the Kings and the Blackhawks
  • Ranks 16th on the Kings' all-time scoring list with 303 points
  • Played on the 1993 Kings team that reached the Stanley Cup Finals
Jamie Kompon
  • Is in his third season as a Kings Assistant Coach
  • Previosuly worked in a number of capacities with St. Louis
  • In 2006 was on the coaching staff with Team Canada at the World Championships
  • Played at McGill, then in the ECHL and then professionally in Germany
Nelson Emerson
  • Is in his third consecutive season as a Kings Assistant Coach
  • Holds Development Coordinator title with the Kings as well
  • Played in 771 career NHL games for a number of teams including the Kings
  • Is the CCHA's all-time leading scorer while at Bowling Green State University
