Kings Enter 2011 NHL Entry Draft with Six Selections

LOS ANGELES –  The Los Angeles Kings are scheduled to make six selections at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, held Friday and Saturday (June 24-25) at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  Their first selection is scheduled for the second round (No. 49 overall).

The first round of the draft will take place on Friday, with VERSUS and the NHL Network providing live coverage of the event starting at 4 p.m. (PT).  Rounds two through seven of the draft are scheduled for Saturday, starting at 8 a.m. (PT) with the NHL Network and NHL.com providing round-by-round coverage. 

The following lists the Kings round-by-round selections in this year’s draft:
