by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
PRESEASON POST GAME QUOTES

Kings (1-1-0) vs. Anaheim Ducks (1-1-1) – September 15, 2007

Ducks 3, Kings 2

Referees: Gord Dwyer, Rob Shick. Linesmen: Jay Sharrers, Shane Heyer. Attendance: 11,107

KINGS HEAD COACH MARC CRAWFORD:
(Re: game recap) “You never like to lose but this is an evaluation period and we are playing a lot of different players to see how much development we need in order to make steps up the ladder in the Los Angeles Kings food chain.”

KINGS FORWARD PATRICK O’SULLIVAN:
(Re: conditioning) “To be honest, I feel faster and quicker on the ice. It’s probably from some of the training I’ve done. I know my conditioning is something the team wanted me to work on. I came to camp in a lot better shape then I was last year, that’s for sure. I feel it on the ice so that’s good.”

DUCKS HEAD COACH RANDY CARLYLE:
(Re: training camp) “”We’ve got lots of work ahead of us. Some of the staples of our game that we showed tonight – we’re quite capable of playing that way, but we turned the puck over a few too many times, probably too many giveaways, and penalties again we’re a problem for us.”

DUCKS CENTER ANDY MCDONALD:
(Re: London) “It’s great for the league, to get exposure over there in Europe. I know there’s talk of expansion. I think it’s good to open up the game to other fans. I think it’s good for both clubs…it’ll be a neat way to start the season.”
