LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings will raffle off one Authentic Stanley Cup Championship Ring to benefit the Kings Care Foundation, the club announced today. The winner will be announced on April 25.
Details of the unique raffle are as follows:
-Winner will receive an LA Kings Authentic Stanley Cup Championship Ring made by the world premiere jeweler Tiffany & Co. that will be personalized for the winner.
-Winner will receive a Kings team-signed jersey.
-Winner will receive 4 lower level tickets to watch the Kings take on San Jose on April 27 at STAPLES Center
-Winner will receive dinner for 4 with Luc Robitaille in the Lexus Club, prior to the April 27 game, where the winner will be presented with the ring.
-Winner will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of $6,483.75 to mitigate the Winner’s tax liability that results from winning the raffle. This prize is withheld and paid, on behalf of the Winner, directly to the IRS ($5,460.00) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ($1,023.75). The actual amount awarded may be adjusted proportionally based on the value of the actual prizes received.

In addition, Kings earlier this month announced that four local charities -- Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California, Boys and Girls Club of America and City Year Los Angeles -- would each receive one Authentic Stanley Cup Championship Ring to auction or raffle off.
Last Saturday Kings players received their Tiffany & Co. championship rings on the ice. Tiffany created each championship ring as a lasting tribute to the LA Kings dedication and thrill of victory. It also marked the jeweler’s first creation of an NHL Championship ring.
On Monday, when the Kings host Vancouver at 7:30 p.m. at STAPLES Center, all fans in attendance will receive a Replica Championship Ring presented by FOX Sports West.
