As part of the LA Kings Forever 50 campaign, the Kings Care Foundation teamed up with Heal the Bay to organize three beach clean ups at Hermosa Beach, Santa Monica Pier, and Dockweiler State Beach Wednesday afternoon.
In total, over 250 volunteers split between the locations were able to collect and remove nearly 700 pounds of trash from the three beaches.

At Hermosa Beach, 172 volunteers were able to pick up 196 pounds of trash.

Meanwhile, 40 volunteers donated their time and efforts at Dockweiler State Beach and picked up 209 pounds of trash.

At Santa Monica Pier cleanup, 46 volunteers were on hand and collected 268 pounds of trash.

Even Hockey Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille joined in on the cleanup action.
