LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have assigned right wing Konstantin Pushkarev to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced.

Pushkarev, 21, made his Kings/NHL debut and collected his first NHL point – an assist - on March 27 at Vancouver. He has one point and zero penalty minutes in one game with the Kings this season. In addition, the 6-0, 180-pound native of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan has a team-leading 18 goals and 32 points (18-14=32) in 71 games with the Monarchs this season. The Kings selected Pushkarev in the second-round (44th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
