KINGS ASSIGN PETIOT TO MANCHESTER

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have assigned defenseman Richard Petiot to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.


Petiot, 23, has not appeared in a regular season game with the Kings this season. The Kings recalled the 6-3, 200-pound native of Daysland, Alberta on November 1. Selected by the Kings in the fourth-round (116th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Petiot has three assists and eight penalty minutes in six games with the Monarchs this season.

The Kings (10-5-1, 21 points) continue a four-game road trip at United Center versus Chicago tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m. The contest will air on FSN West, on KSPN Radio 710 and along the Kings Radio Network.
