LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have assigned forward Trevor Lewis to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Tuesday.

The 6-1, 204-pounder from Salt Lake City made his Kings/NHL debut at Buffalo on Dec. 19, and he collected his first career Kings/NHL goal at Detroit on Dec. 20.

In 28 games with Manchester this season, Lewis has 19 points (8-11=19) and 18 penalty minutes, and his 19 points were tied for the team lead at the time of his recall to the Kings on Dec. 18.
