The Los Angeles Kings have assigned goaltender Adam Hauser to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Hauser, 25, appeared in two preseason games with the Kings. The 6-2, 194-pound native of Bovey, Minnesota, posted a 1-1-0 record, a 2.03 goals-against-average and a .923 save-percentage in 59 minutes of action.

The Kings (preseason record of 4-2-1) conclude their 2005-06 preseason schedule tonight in Anaheim versus the Mighty Ducks at 7:30 p.m. The game can be heard on ESPN Radio 710 – KSPN (joined in progress following Angels baseball) and along the Kings Radio Network.
