LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings Monday announced their preseason schedule for the 2008-09 NHL season.

Kings All-Time Pre-season History

The Kings are currently scheduled to play eight games overall, including two at STAPLES Center -- Sept. 22 versus the Phoenix Coyotes and Sept. 30 versus the Anaheim Ducks.

In addition to the two home games at STAPLES Center, the Kings will play at Colorado on Sept. 24, at Anaheim on Oct. 1 and at Phoenix on Oct 4.

The club’s 2008 preseason schedule also features the following two games that were previously announced: The Kings will host Colorado in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on Sept. 27 as part of “Frozen Fury XI,”(Win a Trip for Two to Frozen Fury XI) and the Kings will play in Kansas City at the new Sprint Center on Sept. 22. In addition, the Kings will play the San Jose Sharks at the E-Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 5.

Tickets for the Kings preseason games at STAPLES Center will go on sale later this summer.

Ticket information for the Kings game in Las Vegas is scheduled to be announced later this week, and tickets for the game in Kansas City are now available for purchase.
