Kings Announce Opening Night Roster

Alec Martinez set to make his NHL debut

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have announced their player roster for the 2009-10 NHL season.

Forward Richard Clune (groin) is currently on the Injured Reserve list (retroactive to Sept. 26) and defenseman Sean O’Donnell is ineligible to play for the Kings in their first two regular season games as he continues to serve a suspension after receiving a match penalty in a preseason contest versus the New York Islanders on Sept. 22.

The Kings host Phoenix in their Season/Home Opener on Saturday at STAPLES Center (7:30 p.m.).

The Kings’ practice schedule at the Toyota Sports Center this week is as follows: Thursday (10 a.m.) and Friday (10 a.m.). Practice times are subject to change.
