LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings will giveaway both “The Shirts Off Their Backs” and a brand new Toyota Tundra as the team celebrates Fan Appreciation Day at STAPLES Center on Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. Twenty-five lucky fans, chosen at random from the crowd, will win authentic game-worn jerseys following the Kings-Anaheim game. Fans attending Saturday’s game will also be eligible to win several other prizes, including the Toyota Tundra. The list of prizes also includes:
  • A complete car makeover from A&G Custom Sound and Auto Accessories including 20” ICCE wheels, ICON video package and complete kicker audio system
  • An Olevia 747i Television
  • A Vivitar DVR710 digital video recorder / digital still camera
  • A portable GPS unit
  • A Sony Cybershot digital camera
  • A custom bobblehead of one lucky Kings fan, courtesy of Globe Promotions
  • A custom Kings Schecter guitar
  • A flyaway for two to Frozen Fury 11 including tickets, hotel and airfare
  • A Greek Theatre VIP package that includes two tickets, parking and access to the Greek Theatre hospitality room
  • A FSN West All Access Kings Production package that includes a behind the scenes tour of a Kings broadcast for four

In addition, the Kings on Saturday will also name their 2007-08 Award Winners:

As voted by the media: Most Valuable Player (“Bill Libby Memorial Award”), Best Newcomer (“Mark Bavis Memorial Award”), Outstanding Defenseman and Best Defensive Player

As voted by the Kings players: Most Inspirational Player (“Ace Bailey Memorial Award”) and Unsung Hero

As selected by the Kings Care Foundation: Community Service

As voted by the Kings Booster Club: Most Popular Player

Also on Saturday, the Kings Care Foundation will present a check to the LAPD Memorial Fund and the Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighters Fund. In addition, the Kings Care Foundation will have a special silent auction featuring Anze Kopitar All-Star equipment, game-used equipment and a spot in the “Shirts off their Backs” giveaway, and the Kings Care Foundation will be selling mystery-signed blue pucks for $25. All proceeds from the puck sales will benefit the Kings Care Foundation and Heal the Bay.
